Rotoscope Artists :- Summary: The Roto Artist is responsible for creating mattes that accurately reflect the motion of a particular object over a series of frames.

Responsibilities include:
Sophisticated shape creation and editing.
Shape animation (by hand and with trackers)
Shape compositing, fill modes, opacity settings.
Make corrections to work as may be required and/or directed.
Take creative direction from leads.
Skills/Experience:
1+ years of industry roto and paint experience preferred
Experience with hand paint and "procedural" or "comp" paint a plus
Working knowledge of rotoscoping software packages such as Nuke and/or Silhouette
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Team player with a great attitude
Dependable and flexible
Ability to train junior artists, lead teams, brief shots for outsourcing, and check all work for accuracy
A strong eye for detail and precision
Takes direction well
Exercises close attention to detail
Proven excellence in artistic ability and aptitude.
Ability to understand and interpret the creative requirements in order to create an accurate representation of stereoscopy.
Accredited post secondary school compositing course or equivalent preferred
Ability to organize your time, collaborate and effectively communicate with your supervisors and team mates, and be able to take direction
Artists at this level may be involved in bidding sequences with show leads, and manage delegation of large amounts of shots amongst artists.
